we played. Many thanks for your help it certainly made a difference.

"I had no idea how much
I learnt that day! I just followed your instructions about not analyzing
everything, being positive and just enjoying myself out there and IT DID WORK!
This time I concentrated on my performance not winning. I’m not worried anymore.
I know what to do now! Thank you again! You're my hero.”
"Your presentation was very comprehensive and pitched at the right level. The
1on 1 feedback was very useful. Your comments on my problem
definition/identification was most illuminating. You had a great balance of
sport and psychology skills - for sure this gives you a great mix for your
chosen profession. Bottom line is that I was very much looking forward to
the session and definitely got some good value out of it. I'm looking
forward to giving the email thing a try and afterwards we can discuss the
best way forward."
would like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my day with you. I found it of
great use and am finding myself enjoying playing tennis a great deal more.
When I now play I find myself in a much more relaxed state of mind and tend
to focus on my own performance rather than on winning. There were several
highlights for me, one being the chance to have a hit with Eric. I found the
mix of classroom/ playing a good way of keeping attention on the subject
matter. If there were any lowlights I cannot remember them. Once again
thanks for a great day and look forward to reading my evaluation."
"Lewis was very interested in your feedback and I am sure as he was reading
it by the look on his face and the comments he was making like how would
john know that … that he was very impressed. He really enjoyed the day and
we now know what is happening and can work on this for the future. I have
read some of the book and was very impressed with how it can help even in
every day life. I had never been interested previously, but found the book
very easy to read and digest. We will be sitting down whilst he is on his 6
week break from school and completing the questionnaire, Do you have an
electronic version of the questionnaire, to save me time in typing the
questions out, so that we can revisit it at a later date. Thank you once
last I found some time to thank you for a great session last Friday in
Sutton Junior Tennis Centre. I had no idea how much I learnt that day! Just
the day after meeting you I had a match with a player who hasn't got any
technique but wins her matches just by waiting for your mistakes. Usually it
takes about 3HR to play a match against her-she gets everything back! I just
followed your instructions about not analyzing everything, being positive
and just enjoying myself out there. IT DID WORK! After just 1HR 15min I won
6-3,6-2.I realised it wasn't as difficult as in the past. This time
I concentrated on my performance not winning. I know there will be hard
matches coming my way.But I'm not worried anymore.I know what to do now!
Thank you again! You're my hero now."
Lots of love,
very much enjoyed the session in London with you! Am already benefiting from
much of what you have said and written. I need to learn (or practice)
replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. Am focusing now on
performance rather than outcome and this is the most significant step
forward I’ve made recently. I’d be interested to hear about the evaluation
and what areas need most attention. Cheers for now – hope you had a good
